How the scoring works
Hard filters
Grade level and coverage type (complete vs. specialist) are hard filters. A publisher that doesn't serve your grade band, or doesn't match the coverage type you asked for, is removed from the pool entirely.
Weighted matches
Faith, method, and budget are weighted. A direct hit on your chosen method earns 5 points; an exact faith match earns 6; a budget match earns 3. Adjacent methods (classical ↔ Charlotte Mason) get a partial bump.
No paid placement
The finder is deterministic. No publisher pays to rank higher. The top-6 you see is the same top-6 the next family would see with your exact answers. Read our editorial policy →
